Enlightenment

Care not I for who is deemed either wrong or right
Therefore competion is at dire odds with me
Without bad versus good, would we ever need fight?
Surely without either, we would all be then free
Righteousness often labelled as what is pure light
Whilst darkness is attached to demonic prowess
Can either be without the other’s existence?
Is darkness, not light, in state of pure undress?
Aren’t they entwined, as in us; have coexistence?
Isn’t fighting our own darkness, the hardest test?
Does one quell the other; have total resistance?

No, of course not; from darkness to light we evolve
From what once was darkness, erupted the big bang
From dark earth to sunlight is a seedlings resolve
In Chinese philosophy they’ve the Yin and Yang
From within the womb, aren’t we all born into light?
Upon chess board, wouldn’t all the pawns be then the same?
Let’s then cleanse our perceptions and birth a new sight
Meet each other with empathy; replace the blame
Let’s concede that it is a spectrum made of slights
Let’s not condemn our sisters and brothers; then wrong
Acknowledge, in each other, both darkness and light
Born from one to the other; in enlightenment belong

So with blame removed; darkness and light accepted
Wouldn’t the human race then have love perfected?
